Career Counselling
Our friendly team of Careers Counsellors are available to assist you in planning your future career. Specifically, they can assist you to clarify ideas, provide support in decision-making and planning, or provide you with a different perspective on your career-related issues.
Study can sometimes be a challenging experience for some, especially in situations where students are unsure of their course. It may be that a student is concerned about the opportunities that are available at the end of the course or perhaps the course does not fit in with their expectations. Irrespective of the issue, Careers Counsellors are able to provide help and support.
Our aim is to focus on developing your own capacity for lifelong career research and decision making. Therefore we provide an extensive range of resources and services for your use.
Prior to an individual consultation we request that you do some initial career research by working through a pre-career counselling checklist. If you still require assistance, contact Careers & Employment on 03 9214 5360 or email to make an appointment.
Please bring the completed checklist to your appointment.
A maximum of three (3) careers counselling sessions per year are provided free to all enrolled Swinburne students and graduates of up to 2 years and TAFE students of up to 6 months after graduation.
