Careers and Employment

Careers and Employment offers career testing using one of two instruments. Testing is usually carried out following an initial half hour consultation with a Careers Consultant. Testing would involve a two hour appointment or can be two one hour appointments.

MYER-BRIGGS TYPE INDICATOR (MBTI)
The MBTI is a questionnaire used to measure and describe your preference for how you like to receive information, make decisions and orient your life. It is also the most widely used personality instrument in Australia. It is based on Carl Jung's theory of perception and judgement and categorises people into 16 broad personality types. As an individual you can use the results of your MBTI test to understand your preferred learning styles, better manage time and stress and evaluate the fit between yourself and your jobs.

Cost of Testing
Testing cost $35 and must be paid on the day of testing.
