Thank you for today's presentation to the Upper Intermediate (Cert. III) and Advanced (Cert. IV) ESL Career Planning students on Key Selection Criteria. They clearly enjoyed your warm, personalised and humourous talk. Adapting the standard hand out so that the English was simpler and more accessible was a very good idea. This is such a complex and confusing area, even for native speakers. Your attention to detail and clear explanations made it easier for the students to grasp the concepts and practise their application. Thank you again - I hope I can call on you again! Thanks for your support and advice. The interview went very well and I have been offered job placement! WooHoo. They did read my resume thoroughly so I am very appreciative of your help. Thank you again. From a TAFE student

Thank you so much for such an informative session yesterday afternoon. The students really gained so much from your knowledge. You were terrific with your creative answers to their questions as well. I too, have learnt a lot! and I think I may need a visit in the future to get my own resume up to scratch! From a TAFE teacher.

I'm not sure if you remember me, but you gave a great session on interviewing to some students who were going for an interview for placement with Delaware North. I should have emailed you back at the the time (maybe I did, I'm not sure) to tell you that they all got positions! So thank you. I am doing a similar thing again, but (hopefully) on a larger scale. I was hoping that you would be able to run a couple of sessions, aimed at their selection interview. I have put a query through the website, but thought I'd make contact with you also as you did it last time and tailored it well for the purpose. This group of students could be different again. I will be hoping for one at the Lilydale campus and one at Prahran campus. From a TAFE teacher

Many thanks for your time and efforts in running a careers workshop at Wantirna for the Cert 3 & 4 ESL groups today. Your input was greatly appreciated and has given the students much material for thought and will assist them significantly in their planning for employment in Australia. Some have already registered with SwinEmploy and were actively exploring the web site in the afternoon computing class. We will know where to come now for any further support over the semester!
