Clubs and societies

One of the best ways to meet like-minded people and make new friends is to join one of Swinburne’s many clubs and societies.

Just ask Huynh Anh Vu from Vietnam, who is now president of the Vietnamese International Students at Swinburne (VISS).

When he first came to Melbourne he felt lonely and homesick. Now thanks to VISS he feels like he has a second family here at Swinburne. Click right to hear more.

There are lots of clubs and societies for international students, including:
  • Asian Young Adult Student Association (AYASA)
  • Indonesian Campus Ministries
  • Malaysian Student Association Swinburne
  • Multicultural Student Fellowship (MSF)
  • Overseas Christian Fellowship
  • Swinburne Chinese Students and Scholars Association
  • Swinburne Islamic Society
  • Swinburne Japanese Club
  • Swinburne Punjabi Club.

From Anime and Hacky Sack to Salsa and Capoiera, there are plenty of other general clubs that are bound to spark your interest. If not, you can even start up your own group!

Swinburne College programs are only available to international students. Domestic students should visit www.future.swinburne.edu.au for more information about Swinburne courses.
