Our main campus is located in Melbourne’s inner-city suburb of Hawthorn.
It is about 10–15 minutes by train from the city centre and Glenferrie station runs right through the middle of the campus.
The Hawthorn campus is great for students as it’s within walking distance of lots of cafes, shops, restaurants and supermarkets on Glenferrie Road.
There are several on-campus accommodation options or you might choose to live nearby and walk to class through the leafy parks and streets.

Prahran campus

Swinburne College students in Foundation Studies Design, Diploma of Design (UniLink) or our Professional Year Programs attend the Prahran campus.
The Prahran campus is ideal for creative types as it is home to the Faculty of Design and the National Institute of Circus Arts.
It is within easy walking distance of the famous Chapel Street shopping precinct, which is lined with restaurants, nightclubs and designer stores.
The campus is a short walk from Prahran station, which is about 10 minutes by train from the city centre. There are a number of tram stops nearby which will come in handy if you are heading into the city or to the beach in St Kilda.
