Unilink

Overview

Unilink is your direct pathway to second year at Swinburne University. It is equivalent to first year and will prepare you for second-year entry to your chosen bachelor degree.

Smaller classes mean you get more one-on-one interaction with your teachers and classmates; more time in class makes it easier to make friends and gives you a better chance of taking everything in.

Best of all, it only takes eight months to complete. Not only is this cost-effective, but it means you can finish your degree sooner rather than later.

Who is it for?

Unilink is a great option if you don’t feel ready for university-level study in Australia – or if you don’t meet the entry requirements for direct entry to a bachelor degree. It's ideal for students who would benefit from the additional support Swinburne College provides.

Pathways to a bachelor degree at Swinburne College

Please note: Engineering is a 4-year degree.

When can you start?

You can start Unilink in February, June or October.

If you start in June, you will have a smooth transition into second-year university the following February. If you start in October, you’ll be able to start uni in July the year after.

NEW! Faster transition for February commencements

Students who start Unilink in February normally finish in September, which means there is a four-month waiting period before you can start your bachelor degree the following year.

The good news? You will be able to start your bachelor degree immediately after finishing Unilink in mid-September by enrolling in a two-subject summer school from September to November.*

* Summer school is not available to Unilink Design students.
