Late course applications are open until 3 November, although the cost has gone up to $103. If you miss that date, you'll need to make a very late application, which is going to sting you $134. Get onto it sooner rather than later. And, if you need more info, visit the VTAC website.
Plenty. You can change your mind as often as you'd like during the Change of Preference period, and there's no cost, as long as you pay attention to the dates listed on the VTAC website.
The order of your preferences still counts, so be realistic in your choices, and make sure you’ve checked for any additional requirements for the courses you're preferencing. If it all feels a bit confusing, just come in for a chat with us at the Swinburne Change of Preference Expo.
Stay calm, life doesn't have to be all about your study scores and first preferences. If you haven't nailed your exams the way you were planning, you've still got plenty of options.
There are other pathways you can take to study at Swinburne, including UniLink diplomas. Complete one of these successfully, and you can progress directly into the second year of a related bachelor degree.
We've been there. Making the switch from school to uni can be daunting, but – trust us – it's a huge, amazing adventure. Follow your instincts, and make the right decision for YOU and your future. You'll be making heaps of new friends and carving your own path in no time. At Swinburne, you'll be surrounded by plenty of other people doing the same.
