ABSTRACT:
Dr Clinton Woodward has developed and mentored numerous students in research over the past ten years at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. In this short presentation he will be sharing some observations, suggestions, tips and lessons he has learnt, as well as gems of wisdom gathered from colleagues along the way. A particular focus will be given to practical ways to engage students early in their studies, and successfully transition them on to strong postgraduate research pathways.
