Swinburne magazine out now
The latest edition of the Swinburne magazine is now available. You can pick up a copy in The Australian newspaper today, 21 July.

This national magazine provides a glimpse of the exciting, high quality research being undertaken at Swinburne. It also shows how a modern university like Swinburne can build excellence through partnerships with industry, community, research organisations and government.

The feature article for this edition, Switched-on scholar masters the power game, describes how a Swinburne engineering researcher has developed a computer model that could keep electricity prices down, vital energy-generation investment up and the expansion of criticial infrastructure attuned to actual, not estimated, need.
