Gold Quill Award for Swinburne Magazine
Date posted: Friday 23 Apr 2010

Swinburne Magazine has won a 2010 Gold Quill Award for business communication to be presented by the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC).
The national magazine is produced three times a year and provides a glimpse of the exciting, high quality research being undertaken at Swinburne.
It also shows how a modern university like Swinburne can build excellence through partnerships with industry, community, research organisations and government.
Produced in collaboration with Melbourne-based publishing house, Coretext, the magazine is distributed nationally in The Australian newspaper and also in metropolitan editions of The Age.
This year’s Gold Quill competition received nearly 900 entries from 28 countries with 106 entries selected to receive awards.
Editors of the magazine, Dorothy Albrecht and Julianne Camerotto were thrilled to have won the award.
“It is an excellent affirmation of the collaborative effort that has gone into creating an engaging and authoritative publication that serves the university and Australian community with integrity,” Ms Camerotto said.
The winners will be presented at the Gold Quill Awards Gala on June 7 at IABC's annual world conference in Toronto, Canada. To see the list of 2010 Gold Quill winners, visit the IABC website.
