Swinburne University of Technology’s 13th Annual Aviation Seminar Series will bring together leading aviation experts to address key issues in the field.
The free seminar series, running from 10 to 12 February, will facilitate a better understanding of the changing nature of the aviation industry, embracing many facets of contemporary aviation.
The event will feature presentations by experts from Shell Aviation, the Australian Transport Safety Bureau, Airbus, Pratt and Whitney, Thales Australia, Embraer and Jetstar Airways.
A diverse range of topics will be addressed, including design and certification of new aircraft and their introduction into new service, latest engine developments and alternative fuels.
Seminar organiser and head of Swinburne’s postgraduate aviation programs Dr Peter Bruce said: “It’s great to run these seminars as they are so well supported and received by industry. This year’s topics are proving very popular, with many sessions close to capacity.
Originally designed as a major component of the university's postgraduate programs in aviation, the seminar series now attracts participants from across the aviation industry.
