Design Factory is the context for innovative programs in product development, international design business management and technology innovation at Aalto University, Helsinki.

Reflecting Aalto's commitment to project and problem-based learning, mixed teams of Masters students from design, economics, engineering and technology work on new product development, and service and marketing ideas for Finnish industry.

The essence of Design Factory is its unique blend of creative, meeting and social spaces. Each year, both companies offer students risky, futuristics projects to work on.
