Educational Developments in Vietnam

Former Vice Minister of Education and Training (MOET) of Vietnam, Professor Tran Nhung is visiting Swinburne and will be presenting a seminar Educational Developments in Vietnam and Cooperation with Australia on Friday 10 September.

Professor Nhung has had a long relationship with Swinburne beginning in the mid 90s.

In February 2008, to coincide with Swinburne's Centenary celebration in Hanoi, he was conferred the title of Honorary Doctorate by the Vice-Chancellor Professor Ian Young for his commitment to supporting and facilitating Swinburne's interests and development in Vietnam.

Professor Nhung retired as Vice Minister of MOET at the end of 2008 and is currently the Chairman of the Vietnam-Australia Friendship Association and General Secretary of the State Council for Professor Title.

Staff are welcome to attend the seminar.
