The December 2011 edition of Swinburne magazine is now available.
This magazine provides a glimpse of the exciting, high quality research being undertaken at Swinburne. It also shows how a modern university like Swinburne can build excellence through partnerships with industry, community, research organisations and government.
The feature article for this edition, Making Future Buildings Safer, describes how inside a glass-walled laboratory, the effects of earthquakes and other forces of nature are being simulated on tomorrow’s structures.
