Protocol and Special Events
The provision of a range of high quality events is a key element in building Swinburne's profile.
Events such as seminars, public lectures, laboratory openings, book launches and conferences showcase the University to its external stakeholders. It is important that all University events be presented in a thoroughly professional manner.
In order to ensure that Chancellery is kept informed of proposed VIP visits, it is essential that the Protocol and Special Events Officer is consulted before issuing an invitation. Such consultation should occur via the VIP Visitors Advice Form.
