Dr Michael Longo is a Senior Lecturer in Business Law in the Accounting, Economics, Finance and Law Academic Group. He has research interests in the areas of European Union, constitutional, citizenship, international, environmental and WTO law. He has published in these areas from comparative perspectives both locally and internationally. He is the author of a book entitled Constitutionalising Europe: Processes and Practices, 2006, Ashgate (awarded the 2007 CERC Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence Publishing Prize for most substantial and original contribution to knowledge in the area of European Studies). He has over 20 years experience in education and government.
Michael is a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria and the High Court of Australia. Michael currently teaches Australian Company Law and Law in Global Business.
