Mike is currently Dean of the Faculty of Business and Enterprise at Swinburne University of Technology. Mike’s areas of specialism are in assessing service quality and in leadership and change management. He has conducted service quality assessments and advised and supported service improvements in public, voluntary and commercial service contexts.
Mike has over 30 years practical experience of leading organisations in government and voluntary sectors as well as being a leading academic manager. He has been Founding Dean of two Business Schools before coming to Australia.
Mike has published his work internationally in professional and academic journals and consults regularly with service providers and governments. He was Chief of Staff to the First Minister of Scotland and Special Adviser to the UK Home Secretary. For full resume please see www.mikeingovan.com
