Julie convenes macroeconomics and organises a peer tutorial for students who seek additional academic support. She participated in an academic exchange (2005) to Oxford-Brookes University, UK where she led a research module on comparative monetary policies in regard to inflation targeting in the USA, Australia and the euro-zone. She is interested in facilitating students to apply economic and financial concepts in a broad business and international context. This requires continuous updating of materials to enable recent applications for discussion and analysis. She finds this is the best way for her to engage students in the subject areas for which she is responsible.
