Mr IAN McCORMICK
Lecturer, Accounting Ph +61 3 9214 8309 Dr Ian McCormick teaches Accounting in the Faculty of Business and Enterprise. Ian has a long history with the Faculty, commencing in 1970 and and teaching here until 1986. At that time, Ian started and managed Swinburne International, becoming Dean, International. During this period, Ian was chair of the Victorian Directors of International Education. Ian retired from Swinburne in 1999, and became the accountant of a private college associated with international students that was affiliated to Deakin University. He then had three years as Deputy Head, Deakin International. Ian returned to the Faculty in 2005, and in 2009 was seconded to the position of Acting ADI. Ian was responsible for documenting our international activities, and redesigned Swinburne's overseas universities qualifications accreditation process. Ian is also currently administrating the executive education programs. Ian's areas of research have included fair value accounting. |
