Alex teaches Contract Law, Marketing Law, Australian Contract Law, Australian Company Law, and Corporations Law, in the Faculty of Business and Enterprise.
Alex read his degrees in law from universities in the UK and New Zealand. He has taught law for over ten years at tertiary level, including two and half years at the Swinburne's Sarawak campus in Malaysia.
Alex's industry experience, which spanned nearly eight years, saw him work for both private and public-listed companies in Malaysia where his area of practice was primarily centred on corporate and construction legal work. He was also actively involved in the corporate listing and restructuring of two companies during this time. His current research interests are in the areas of commercial law and corporate law. His doctoral research is in good faith contracting.
