Graduate Certificate of Social Science (Philanthropy and Social Investment)
Established in 2001, the Asia-Pacific Centre for Philanthropy and Social Investment is a global pioneer in providing postgraduate education for potential and current philanthropists, and those who advise them. The Graduate Certificate of Social Science (Philanthropy and Social Investment) is designed for individuals, and for business, government, not-for-profit, philanthropic and related private sector agencies which provide and manage grants and funds for the wellbeing of Australian citizens. It provides graduates with policy and applied skills in the growing field of personal philanthropy and corporate social investment.
Graduates will have the technical skills and wider community perspectives in grant-making, program design and corporate social investment which will equip them to work in the corporate, professional, public and community sectors. Career paths will include management, administration and program officer roles in private and corporate trusts and foundations, in public and community affairs, funds management, financial advising, and sponsorship. The program will also assist those with a capacity for private giving. Go to Coursefinder for more program information
