Australian Graduate School of Entrepreneurship

The AGSE Experience

As one of the most experienced graduate schools in Australia and the Asia-Pacific region, the Australian Graduate School of Entrepreneurship (AGSE) offers a fresh approach to business research, and to business, leadership and management education. With a specific focus on innovation and entrepreneurship, it is an applied management school targeted at people who wish to build or develop enterprises. AGSE focuses on the entrepreneurial application of learning. This ensures that students know the difference between the theory of management and the application of that theory in a way that provides growth opportunities for their organisations and themselves.

We regularly monitor evidence and student feedback to ensure the quality and relevance of our programs remains in line with the changing demands of business and global trends in business education.

Recent data compiled by the Graduate Careers Council of Australia shows that our Faculty enjoys very high levels of student satisfaction when compared with other business schools in Australia . This data shows that our levels of overall satisfaction are almost 10% higher than the national average.

The Federal Government's first discipline based ranking of business schools in Australia, the Faculty of Business & Enterprise ended up in the top 6 in the country and 2nd in Victoria.

The recent edition of the Good Universities Guide also gave us excellent feedback on students' university experience (postgraduate). We received -

5 stars for Education Experience by Graduates
4 stars for Teaching Quality, Research Intensity, Entry Flexibility, Cultural Diversity and Gender Balance
4 stars for Graduate Starting Salary and Graduates' Generic Skills

PLUS, we are the only Victorian university to receive a VERY HIGH rating for the proportion of students admitted on the basis of experience - which translates for you into a more dynamic and experienced cohort of students to interact with and learn from!

Classroom Environment and Teaching Delivery
AGSE students complete their studies in small, highly interactive and dynamic classes of 25 students, delivered by staff and associates who have specialised skills and are commercially experienced. This also ensures a safe friendly atmosphere that other universities are unable to provide.
