How to Accept Your Offer

STEP 3

Attach the relevant documentation
Applications should be accompanied by supporting documentation to avoid delays in processing:
1. A certified copy* of Proof of Identification: Birth Certificate OR Australian Passport OR Certificate of Australian Citizenship OR Passport containing Permanent Resident visa label OR Passport containing a valid visa label
2. Certified* and translated copies of original transcripts of official results and graduation certificates of previous academic qualifications
3. Curriculum vitae (CV)
4. English language test score where English is not your first language (IELTS or TOEFL)
5. Letter of Support from employer if this adds strength to your application (particularly when there is minimum work experience)
6. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)/Exemptions will be determined at the time of application. You may be asked to supply a detailed syllabus of the studies undertaken, a detailed CV and certified copies of academic results if they have not already been included in your application
7. GMAT scores (if available)
* Documentation must be certified as a true and correct copy of the original by either the issuing body or by those people qualified to accept a statutory declaration, ie. police, chemist, doctors or accountants. It must include an original signature, the name, address and title of the person signing, and an appropriate registration number. Photocopies of previously certified documents are NOT acceptable. Where documents are not in English, you must provide translations.

Confirmation
You will receive a confirmation letter when your application has been received. All applicants will be acknowledged and advised on the outcome of their applications. If your application is successful, AGSE will send you an offer package - then you can follow the steps to accept your offer. |

Understanding your Letter of Offer
Read your Letter of Offer thoroughly and make sure you understand the terms of the offer including:

Conditional offer
Those candidates who do not meet all the entry requirements may receive a Conditional Letter of Offer where progression is based on academic performance (or a bridging program where applicable) |

|
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)/Exemptions
If you have received RPL/Exemptions for previous studies, the name of the unit(s) will be listed in your Letter of Offer. Your offer letter will also indicate which units of study you will be enrolled in. |

Timetable
Instructions on how to view a timetable of the unit offerings (subjects) will be included in your offer pack. |

|
Start Dates & Orientation Workshop
Your Letter of Offer will list the semester start dates, as well as the dates of the 2-day Transition into Postgraduate Studies (TPS) Orientation program for all commencing AGSE students. |

|
Fees
Your Letter of Offer will list the current tuition fees (cost per unit of study) payable prior to the commencement of studies. An application form to undertake the FEE-HELP government loan will be included in the offer pack. |

STEP 2

Complete enrolment form
Complete the First Enrolment Form enclosed in the offer pack (use the Letter of Offer to help you) together with the FEE HELP form if applicable.

STEP 3
|

Send
Send the completed First Enrolment and FEE HELP forms to AGSE using the Reply Paid Envelope enclosed in the offer pack.

STEP 4
|
|
Confirmation of enrolment
The AGSE Student Administration office will issue you with a 'Confirmation of Enrolment' invoice and statement once you have been enrolled in the system. Check that these details are correct and take note of any payment due dates and important student information. |
