Established by the Australian Government in 1990, APTEA’s goal is to assist countries of Central-Eastern Europe and Eurasia in their transition to the market economy by educating young professionals in the area of modern business.
APTEA participants have come to Swinburne from diverse backgrounds, with experience in a variety of sectors, both private and public.
Since 1994, APTEA alumni have been meeting on a regular basis through the APTEA Congress. It provides a great opportunity for its almost 500 members to build professional and business networks and also personal friendships.
The congress brings together APTEA alumni from around the world, including Europe, Australia, New Zealand, America and Canada.
