William Lye to head CommBar Asia Pacific section
William Lye has been appointed chairman of the new Asia Practice section of the Commercial Bar Association of Victoria (CommBar).
“CommBar’s decision to form an Asia Practice section signifies the growing importance of doing business with Asian companies and clients directly,” Lye said. “The gradual shift of global economic power to Asia is an indication of things to come.”
“The Asia Practice section aims to not only open up new opportunities for Victorian Barristers with Asian expertise and experience, but also to build new relationships and foster ongoing relationships with Asian legal practitioners and Asian companies.”
William graduated with a Master of Entrepreneurship and Innovation in 2009 and is currently the convenor and a sessional lecturer in the Master of Entrepreneurship and Innovation degree.
