Mimio

What is it?

Mimio is an easy to use, portable device that can be used to electronically record any whiteboard work. These can then be later published and viewed in many formats. Mimio can be used to incorporate an audio explanation with the whiteboard work.

Why use it?

• Mimio is a great tool to record the steps used to arrive at the answer to problems and drawings.
• It is useful for brainstorming, mathematical calculations/formulae, flowcharting and visual note-taking.
• The published result can be a recorded transcript of your whiteboard process, which you can then make available via your Blackboard subject for students to review and replay.
