Audio conferencing
What is it?
Academic Development & Support provides audio conferencing services to the Swinburne community. Audio conferences can be as simple as one hands-free telephone to another (point-to-point), or they can be to multiple telephones (multi-point). Most audio conferences can be initiated from your standard telephone handset without assistance. For multi-point audio conferences, you may need to use a bridging device.
Why use it?
Audio conferencing services are useful to facilitate meetings and classes across distances. These conferences are often hands-free and sometimes also use web conferencing technologies.
