Graphic design

What is it?

Academic Development & Support offers graphic design solutions such as:

  • Interface design for web-based projects
  • Photographic montage and manipulation (as seen in Bb banners)
  • Illustration for diagrams, Flash content, animation and interface design
  • Design reflecting Swinburne branding onto delivery methods such as CD/DVD labels, DVD menus and streaming media (Video On Demand)
  • Video graphics/titles

Why use it?

Although graphic design is very subjective, it does play a significant part in the implementation of the Swinburne brand, and in enhancing various learning and teaching objectives.

Screen-based graphic design has to encompass issues relating to accessibility and usability, and have a process to establish the successful user experience.

The visual experience/viewpoint is a partnership with the programming that is required for the delivery of learning materials/objects.
