University

The University Learning and Teaching Strategic Development Plan is designed to further the strategic directions of the University. The plan requires that flexible and learner-centred education offers some choices to learners in meeting their individual needs and exercising their learning preferences.

Choices are offered by the use of a range of learning and teaching techniques, including face-to-face classes and/or virtual classes supported by the use of educational technologies. These include online and print materials, online communications, video on demand and teleconferencing.

On-line print, video and library resources, web links and a range of communication strategies now enrich subjects. To ensure access at a time, place and pace of a student's choice, it is important for content to meet Australian and University accessibility standards.
