Disability support service
Swinburne Higher Education has a significant number of students registered with the Disability Support Service. The number of registered students is expected to increase in line with historical trends and the experiences of other universities.
The types of disabilities causing accessibility issues include visual and hearing, mental health, neurological and medical conditions and can be congenital, accident caused, temporary or permanent.
The Higher Education Disability Liaison Officer is available to provide assistance and advice to staff, and to current and prospective students on any issues arising from a disability or impairment.
