What to bring
If you have already started your application, bring it with you.
You will also need some supporting documentation to complete your application.
- Proof of citizenship
All applications require proof of citizenship. Different types of proof are acceptable depending on whether you are an Australian citizen, permanent resident or other type of citizen.
If you are an Australian citizen, proof may be one of the following:
- if you were born before 20 August 1986 – Australian birth certificate or current Australian passport
- if you were born after 20 August 1986 – current Australian passport or Australian citizenship certificate.
If you are a permanent resident (including humanitarian visa holders), you must provide a current passport showing permanent resident visa or permanent resident visa documents.
All other students (including international on-campus students) must provide a current passport (including visa).
- Course-specific requirements
Requirements vary from course to course.
For example, applicants to the first year of a bachelor degree in design or film and television are not required to present a portfolio or attend an interview. But, applicants seeking exemptions must submit examples of design work (a portfolio) or a showreel, as well as academic transcripts from previous university or other qualifications.
Make sure you check what supporting documentation is required for your application using Course Search.
